Some Furry Friends

I love seeing all the deer around here... especially the non road kill ones. People seem to view them as pests, but personally I would love to catch a few muching on my garden. They are so cute that I don't mind if they ravage my flowers.

Dave fixes Makoto's car

Dave is a very generous and helpful person. He decided to help Makoto out by doing an oil change for her. Unfortunatly he was not familiar with her Audi and made an oops. He accidentally drained her tranny fluid. To add to his sorrow, you cannot easily refill it in her car, special tools are required.... and he did it on Sunday night, and he was flying to Toronto for a week the next morning. He had to get it flatdecked to Audi, and rent her a car for while he was gone. Poor Dave, we will refer to this moment as his Audi Oops from now on.

Second Day with Steph

I gave Steph a tour of Kelowna, and Penticton before we finished up with a drink at the Hooded Morgansa (Unsure of spelling on that), its a new place built on a pier by the Lakeside in Penticton. It was so good to see a face from home. Posted by Picasa

Steph comes for a visit

Ms. Puleo came up to hit the slopes with me, before heading into Penticton for a big Mary Kay Convention. We had the best day. We went to Crytal Mountain which is at the end of my stree (yes we live minutes from the lifts) The mountain is closed Mon-Wed so we went on what is often refered to as Big Powder Thursday. There was over 60cm of fresh powder, and only 10 cars in the parking lot. Fresh tracks and sunshine all day long

That's a main run, at the end of the day.... wow Posted by Picasa

After a great day snowboarding I suggested we needed some wine with dinner. So off we went to 3 local wineries, still in our ski gear, for some samples. This is taken at Mission Hill Winery. (all photo's from Steph's visit were taken by Steph, so I get to be in the pics for a change) Posted by Picasa
